The whole Kazio 2026: Who’s coming to Polanica-Zdrój Oct 9–11?
Hrabi, Andrzej Grabowski, Aga Zaryan, Izabela Trojanowska, Patrick The Pan, Jerzy Bralczyk and Spięty. This year’s Cały Kazio in Polanica-Zdrój defies categorisation. From 9 to 11 October 2026, it combines music, comedy, literature and film. We review the 13th edition’s programme and suggest planning a full weekend around it.
Cały Kazio 2026: three days, many ways to enjoy the festival
Some festivals are worth attending for one concert. With Cały Kazio, the choice is much wider. Over three October days in Polanica-Zdrój, there will be comedy and music performances, talks, a literary meeting, a film screening, a Scrabble tournament and club events.
The Maria Czubaszek and Wojtek Karolak Festival runs from 9 to 11 October 2026. Events will take place at the Mieczysława Ćwiklińska Spa Theatre and Villa Polanica.
You do not have to attend everything. The programme is varied enough to choose one evening or make the festival the main focus of a whole weekend in Polanica-Zdrój.
Friday: Hrabi, Andrzej Grabowski & Piotr Krakowski
The opening evening shows that Cały Kazio cannot be assigned solely to music, comedy or cultural meetings.
The festival opens with “CI-FACE-CI”. First, Kabaret Hrabi will take the stage; then Andrzej Grabowski and Piotr Krakowski will perform a recital.
This is for those seeking great humour and meetings with artists known from entirely different stages to start their weekend.
Friday’s programme does not end at the Spa Theatre. Later, the festival moves to Villa Polanica, where Rafał Bryndal will host the Festival Club.
So if you plan to arrive in Polanica on Friday, do not treat the day merely as time for check-in. The festival begins with one of its strongest line-ups.
Saturday: books, film and the Cały Kazio festival gala
The most extensive programme is planned for Saturday. This is when the organisers’ broad understanding of the festival format is most evident.
The Festival Scrabble Tournament opens the day. Later, Villa Polanica will host meetings of the Sensible Book Club. Katarzyna Bareja will talk to Hirek Wrona, while Tomasz Lipiński will meet Piotr Stelmach.
The programme also includes the Festival Film Club, with a screening of “Known, Unknown Karolak”. A discussion with Igor Mertyn and Sławomir Kalwinek will follow.
In the evening, attention will return to the Spa Theatre.
Four musical personalities at one gala
The Saturday festival gala hosts Tomasz Sianecki and Wojciech Zimiński. On stage: Izabela Trojanowska, Aga Zaryan, Tomasz Lipiński and Patrick The Pan.
This line-up brings together artists from different musical worlds. That is why Saturday evening may also appeal to people who have not followed Cały Kazio before and simply want an interesting event during an autumn stay in Polanica-Zdrój.
After the gala, the Vinyl After Party “Classic Jazz” is planned, hosted by Hirek Wrona.
Saturday can therefore look completely different depending on what you expect from the festival. You can come mainly for the evening gala or spend most of the day with Cały Kazio, moving from talks and film to music.
Sunday: Jerzy Bralczyk; finale with Spięty
The final day is more than a brief addition to Friday and Saturday’s programme.
The Spa Theatre will host a literary meeting with Prof. Jerzy Bralczyk and Sofia Lebedeva, led by Przemek Rozenek.
The 13th edition will end with music. The festival closes with a concert by Spięty—Hubert Dobaczewski, known both for his solo work and his many years on Poland’s alternative music scene.
This makes Sunday worth considering when planning your return from Polanica. Leaving after breakfast would mean missing two full programme highlights.
One evening or the whole festival?
The answer depends mainly on which part of the programme interests you most.
If you are going to Polanica mainly for comedy and the recital, Friday is the natural choice. Those seeking the most varied range of events should focus on Saturday. Sunday combines a meeting about language and literature with a concert finale.
There is another option: instead of choosing one day, you can treat Cały Kazio 2026 as a reason for an autumn weekend in Polanica-Zdrój.
This gives you much more freedom. You do not have to arrive just before an event or leave immediately afterwards. Between programme highlights, there is time for a walk, lunch, coffee or simply relaxing.
Before arriving, check the current programme for the 13th “Cały Kazio” Festival. The organiser posts up-to-date information about individual events there.
A festival weekend without filling every spare hour
With a three-day event, it is easy to overplan from morning to late evening. In Polanica-Zdrój, you need not.
October is ideal for enjoying the spa at a slower pace. Between events, you can walk through Spa Park, stop for coffee or simply leave part of the day unplanned. If the weather is good, a walk will complement several hours spent in the audience.
You also needn't add a long list of Kłodzko Valley attractions to your festival weekend: culture is the main reason to visit this time. Mountains, longer trips and sightseeing can wait for another stay.
Where to relax after Cały Kazio events?
With such a busy programme, what happens between events matters as much as what takes place on stage.
Hotel Alpejski is in a quieter part of Polanica-Zdrój. It can therefore serve as a base for festival-goers who prefer returning after the programme to a place away from the resort’s busiest area.
The hotel offers various room categories at Hotel Alpejski, suitable for stays as a couple or with several people.
There is also a restaurant serving Polish and Alpine cuisine. Guests can additionally use the Hotel Alpejski wellness area with an indoor pool, Finnish sauna and steam room.
For an October stay, these are simply extra ways to spend your time, especially when you want to rest between festival events or the weather discourages a long walk.
Cały Kazio 2026 as an idea for an October weekend in Polanica-Zdrój
From Kabaret Hrabi and Andrzej Grabowski, through Aga Zaryan, Izabela Trojanowska and Patrick The Pan, to Jerzy Bralczyk and Spięty. This year’s Cały Kazio programme lets you shape the weekend around your interests instead of following one imposed festival format.
You can come for a specific performance. You can choose one day. Or you can stay from Friday to Sunday and make culture the main theme of an autumn trip to Polanica-Zdrój.
If you are planning such a stay, check the available Hotel Alpejski offers and choose the option matching the length of your festival weekend.
